Rader: $500,000 Awarded in Tobyhanna Township
January 20, 2026
HARRISBURG – Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe) today announced $500,000 has been awarded to Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, through the state’s Multimodal Transportation Fund Program (MTF).
“Today’s award will enhance our infrastructure and meet the needs of residents for years to come,” said Rader. “It is important to invest in our roadway maintenance.”
Funding awarded to the township will be used for roadway and intersection upgrades for the I-380 Southbound Off Ramp Realignment Project. This funding will be used toward construction, engineering and administrative costs related to the improvements that will be made.
The MTF Program is administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority and provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to the residents of the Commonwealth.
